It so enriched the experience for everyone back home. The games were cool enough, but to get your back stories, and laughs along the way, made it that much better. Pretty incredible to think about Lilly's save in '99 and Japan's goal in the second half of OT to tie it, how sports really are a game of inches and the difference between a championship and second place is very, very narrow. I'm sure Germany and Brazil would tend to agree. BTW, still would like to see a replay of that second goal by Japan, as they only showed one angle on TV and I'm still not certain how that went in.
